Syntha Pulvin is proud to announce that we are extending the standard guarantee on our Syntha Pulvin Matt range from 25 to 30 years for new installations in the UK and Eire. You can view the press release here.

Our first architectural powder coating project, George House in Hammersmith, was completed almost 35 years ago. In 2006 we commissioned a technical inspection of the coating on this project and found that, 33 years on, although showing signs of wear, the coating is still protecting the substrate effectively!

Following this report we conducted an extensive market survey, examining trends and changes in the architectural coatings market. We found that, although the 25 year guarantees that are common in the market have served the architectural profession well, the market is changing with the advent of PFI and the rapid growth of the Design & Build approach to construction. PFI contractors and Design & Build projects operate in a very risk averse marketplace and are demanding longer guarantees that fit with their contract periods.

As a result of this, we are pleased to offer a 30 year performance guarantee on our Syntha Pulvin Matt and Synthatec Metallics products. All literature on the website has been updated to reflect this change, which is effective from 4th July 2007. The guarantee period for Syntha Pulvin Gloss and Satin remains at 15 years, and guarantees of up to 25 years are available on Syntha Pulvin Matt and Synthatec Metallics in Marine, Industrial and Swimming Pool environments.
